Privacy Policy

How Thinkers & Doers, a technology collective convened by Coditation, collects, uses, and protects information about the people who apply for, attend, or engage with our table.

Effective: August 20, 2026 Last updated: August 20, 2026

01Overview

Thinkers & Doers is a recurring table for technology and business leaders, convened by Coditation. This policy explains what information we gather when you apply for a seat, register for a session, subscribe to updates, or otherwise interact with our website and events, and what we do with it.

By applying to attend, registering, or otherwise submitting information to us, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you don't agree, please don't submit information through our forms or attend our sessions.

02Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what we gather automatically, and what we receive from third parties who help us run the table.

Information you provide

  • Application & registration details — name, email address, job title, company, and any context you share about why you'd like a seat at the table.
  • Correspondence — anything you send us by email or through a contact form.
  • Session content — if you speak, ask a question, or contribute during a session, notes, photos, or recordings may capture that contribution.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, device and browser type, and approximate location (derived from IP address).
  • Cookies & similar technologies — see Section 5.

Information from third parties

When you book time with us through a scheduling tool such as Calendly, or apply via a linked form, we receive the details you submit there, subject to that provider's own privacy practices.

04Sharing & disclosure

  • Service providers — vendors who help us operate the site and events (for example, hosting, email delivery, and scheduling providers), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Coditation — Thinkers & Doers is convened by Coditation, and relevant application and attendance information may be shared internally within Coditation for the purpose of running the series.
  • Legal & safety — where required by law, or where we believe in good faith it's necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Thinkers & Doers, our attendees, or the public.

05Cookies & analytics

We use a small set of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how it's used:

  • Essential cookies — required for core site functionality; these can't be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns so we can improve the site.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

06Third-party services

Our site links to or embeds third-party services — for example, a scheduling tool for booking calls. When you interact with these services, their own privacy policies govern how they handle your information. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information through them.

07Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, for the duration of the application and event cycle, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, follow-up, and legal compliance. We periodically review and remove information we no longer need.

08Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

09Your rights & choices

Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13.

Unsubscribing. Every email update we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us directly to stop contacting you at any time.

10Children's privacy

Thinkers & Doers is intended for working professionals and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

11International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in. Where required, we take steps intended to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for these transfers.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and where changes are material, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
